POSITION SUMMARY

Provides and manages individualized, goal-oriented patient care through use of the established nursing processes and principles of primary nursing in accordance with the hospital's nursing standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
2. Minimum of one - two years experience in practice area.
3. Current licensure in the State of Maryland.
4. Current CPR certification, fire/safety and infection control review at the time of or within 60-90 days of employment.
5. ACLS Certification preferred.
6. Computer literacy preferred.

An essential function of this position is to comply with BSHSI Policy (SYS.HR.NUR.001) which requires, as a condition of employment, that all registered nurses with diplomas or associate degrees who apply and are hired after May 1, 2015 complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five years of start date.
